Ellie and Sonny (Skrillex) worked together on a track for the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part Two and received rave reviews for the song entitled Bittersweet. Despite this success, the couple broke up soon afterwards.
Ellie still insists that the pair have musical chemistry and she is more than happy to team up with Skrillex for a new project next year. She has revealed that they are still “good mates” and that the reason behind the break up was because they didn’t see enough of each other. Working together might not be the best idea for the couple if they are hoping to keep romance out of the equation.
