Elton John and his partner David Furnish are celebrating this month as they become fathers for a second time.
Having decided that they fancied a go at parenthood again and that their 2-year-old son Zachary could do with a little brother to play with, little Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born via a surrogate mum last week. The little bundle of joy weighed 8lb 4oz.
The same woman who carried their first son was given the honour of carrying the Furnish-Elton’s second son, and the couple have said that it is “almost unbelievable” that they are parents for a second time.
Elton has said that their new son really completes their family and their lives, which is the greatest news that he is expecting to hear this year.
